Chevtchenko

In the Chevtchenko-Tremblay family, the patriarch Stefan, tormented by dementia and a rare degenerative disease, wanders in an inability to make himself understood or to understand himself. His thoughts are expressed through Ukrainian poems that have haunted him since his homeland. In the face of the inevitable, an unprecedented unity emerges between his three sons and their mother. By revealing their vulnerabilities, their anger, and their fears, they find the strength to cultivate hope in the heart of adversity.
